Dr. Reagan Miller-Chagnon

Owner & Founder of Wild Roots

I am the founder of Wild Roots Individual and Couples Therapy, LLC. As a marriage and family therapist, it is my goal to help people live more fulfilling and joyful lives!

For several years, I have incorporated systems theory and many evidence-based approaches, including mindfulness, emotion focused theraopy (EFT) and internal family systems (IFS) to help individuals and couples navigate difficulties in their lives, such as large life stressors, feeling disconnected, communication problems, disappointments, infidelity, and unhelpful patterns that contribute to ongoing conflicts.

In my work, creating a compassionate and non-judgmental space where people can heal is extremely important to me. In addition, I enjoy helping people to develop tools and insight that can be applied during everyday life. Through this work, I hope to inspire healing, greater compassion, and more meaningful connections.

In addition to my expertise in marriage and family therapy, I have also published over 29 research articles, secured NIH funding to pursue research on mindfulness-based interventions, and completed over 200 hours of training in IFS (including Level 1), emotion focused therapy (EFT) as well as advanced training in trauma-informed yoga (200-RYS) and mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR).

When I am not working, you can find me outside on a hike or spending time with my four cats and dogs! I also love to do yoga and paint on the weekend.

I'd love to chat with you and see if we might be a good fit to work together!
